Home Inspector Licensing Information The Louisiana State Board of Home Inspectors (LSBHI) developed the Rules of the Board, a Standards of Practice and a Code of Ethics which will govern the LSBHI and all home inspectors within this state. They also set procedures and requirements for becoming a licensed home inspector in the State of Louisiana. LSBHI Requirements LSBHI requires that applicants complete at least 120 hours of instruction and training. Bob Brooks School does not offer live inspections.
